Gilding Flakes and die cutting

The item trending right now seems to be Gilding flakes, they are coming into most craft stores in various guises.  I have some bags of flakes I bought years ago for gilding mirror's and for home furnishing project's.  So I thought I would use some for my cards today.

I use Zig memory pens as my" size", the type that goes on blue when adhesive and then clear when removable.  It makes a perfect "grab" for flakes and takes seconds to be ready to use.  Perfect for Miss Impatient here :-)
The flowers are from a pack of Tim Holtz Grungeboard pre-cut die shapes, gilded.
Die's used are a mix of, Marianne, Spellbinders, Cheery Lyn etc etc

To Gild:
Coat with Zig glue
Wait for a few minutes for the glue to go clear
Rub on the flakes and use a soft brush to burnish and remove any excess.  Save this for using again.  Beware don't cough or breathe too heavy it goes everywhere...lol
Cheery Lyn frame die-Reflections Boutique
Spellbinders Decorative Ovals
Seam binding tape "Messy bow"

Sizzix border die and hand-painted topper done with H2O's and one of my organza flowers (Tutorial for thee in a previous post)

I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder on the border and sanded it.  I love the mica sheen you get from the Twinkling H2O paints
The latest Spellbinder Border dies and matching stamps from Just right stamps
New release die Spellbinders frames and the border and stamps again
I think this is an old Crafty Individuals Stamp, H2O's  painted, old book page and die cut border and frame
Cut the frame twice and cut the background one in half to create a shadow effect
